Since I learned that young girls in Southeast Asia are sexually abused in order to survive, it was clear to me that I would not know how to rest unless I started fighting against this new form of slavery. As a Christian, I cannot stand idly by in the face of this manifestation of pure evil. I must act as vigorously as possible. Being the eyes, ears and voices of all young victims of sex trafficking is the essence of my work as a photojournalist and president of Talitha Koumi.
